NOTES FROM THE TABLE

Results on this device

The table is a personal record rather than a public leaderboard. No player account is required to view local results. My Statistics on pnolf.com reads results saved by this browser. The table covers standard Spider, challenge modes and the additional variants.

When a game starts

A few details help explain this feature. Resuming an already counted attempt does not add another start. Opening a page without taking a successful action does not count as starting a game. Replay or New game creates another attempt that counts after its first successful action. A game counts as started when you make its first successful move or stock deal.

The completed-game counter

Here are the details for this mode. Standard Spider requires eight runs while the single-deck variants require four. A win is recorded when the game collects all runs required by its rules. A newly replayed attempt can record another win if you finish it. A counted win is not added again by undoing and redoing the final action in the same attempt.

Wins compared with starts

A few details help explain this feature. A row with no recorded starts shows a dash for its win rate. Unfinished attempts remain part of the started total. The win rate compares recorded wins with recorded starts for one row. The win rate describes local play history and does not measure whether every deal was solvable.

Best completed move count

The following details apply here. A successful stock deal counts as one action in the move counter. The best-moves value is a practice record rather than a verified competitive score. Best moves is the lowest final move count among recorded wins in that row. Undo restores the earlier move count along with the earlier card arrangement.

How the timer is used

Best time is the shortest elapsed time among wins that include a timed record. The timer runs during started, unfinished play while the page is visible. An older saved statistics record without a measured winning time displays a dash until a timed win is recorded. Undo does not rewind elapsed time.

Read each table row

The following details apply here. Daily Challenge, Numbered Deals and Relaxed Spider each have three suit-specific rows. Spiderette, Simple Simon and Scorpion each have their own row. Standard Spider has separate rows for one suit, two suits and four suits. Winning Deals has one row for its verified one-suit collection.

Daily completion count

A few details help explain this feature. The completion list is stored locally and retains up to 2200 dated entries. Winning the same dated challenge twice does not add a second distinct completion. Daily wins in the results table can include repeated completed attempts. The daily completion total counts distinct saved challenge-date and suit combinations.

Manage the local record

A few details help explain this feature. Clearing local game data also removes the statistics used by this page. New results are retained only when game saving is enabled and browser storage is available. The website cannot recover records after the browser has removed them. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear application game data.

Browser and domain boundaries

Here are the details for this mode. A completed verified deal counts as a win even when Solution step was used to finish it. Results stay in the current browser profile on this domain. Another browser, device or domain has its own local records. A shared browser profile can expose saved results to other people using that profile.
